TechSpotify to add ‘AI Persona’ badges to some AI-generated artist profiles
Spotify said it will begin placing “AI Persona” badges on some artist profiles from mid-September. The company said the labels are intended to give listeners greater transparency about whether the person behind the music is real. The move will apply to selected profiles featuring AI-generated artists, rather than indicating that every such profile will receive a badge immediately.
