TechBoeing is selling its air taxi startups to Archer Aviation
Boeing is transferring three electric vertical takeoff and landing subsidiaries to Archer Aviation. The deal also gives Boeing an undisclosed stake in the San Jose-based company. Among the businesses Archer will acquire is Wisk Aero, which is working on an autonomous electric aircraft. SkyGrid, another subsidiary in the transaction, is developing air traffic management systems.
