Daniel Kinahan, the alleged leader of an Irish organised crime gang, was extradited from Dubai to Ireland on Sunday. He is expected to face allegations that he operated an international drug-smuggling and money-laundering empire. The network was said to extend into Britain, Spain and the United States. Kinahan was arrested in Dubai in April. US authorities named him in 2022 as one of three leaders of the Kinahan Organised Crime Group and offered a $5 million reward for their arrests.
