WorldUkraine’s Zelenskyy makes first visit to Russia-friendly Serbia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is making his first visit to Serbia. His host, President Aleksandar Vucic, hopes the encounter will help him gain political credit with the European Union. Zelenskyy, meanwhile, is seeking additional arms from a country that remains friendly toward Russia. The trip therefore combines Serbia’s EU-facing calculations with Ukraine’s search for military support.
