Canva will cut or relocate 1,271 employees, or 22% of its global workforce, in a major restructure. Chief executive Melanie Perkins called it the hardest moment in the company’s 13-year history. Departing staff will receive at least six months’ salary and, in countries where offered, 12 more months of healthcare coverage.
