Grocery stores from Sweden to Portugal were hit Monday by a suspected cyberattack on freezer systems, which the EU denounced as an attempt to disrupt the bloc’s food chain. At least eight countries were affected, and retailers discarded food after overnight temperature rises spoiled or threatened produce.
