WorldEurope to meet Tuesday over migration surge in Ceuta
Spain has put up a 500-metre sea barrier between its North African enclave of Ceuta and neighbouring Morocco. The move follows an attempt earlier this week by tens of thousands of migrants to breach the border, in which at least 67 people died. Most of those who crossed returned to Morocco soon afterward, but the episode has revived debate over immigration across Europe and beyond. The European Union is scheduled to hold an emergency video conference on Tuesday.
