US singer Chris Brown was given an eight-month prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, for hitting music producer Abraham Diaw twice on the head with a glass bottle at a London nightclub. Brown and vocal coach Omololu Akinlolu pleaded guilty to affray and were ordered to pay £1,500 in costs each.
