US singer Chris Brown avoided jail after hitting a man twice on the head with a glass tequila bottle at a London nightclub. He received an eight-month prison sentence suspended for 12 months. His vocal coach, rapper Omololu Akinlolu, was given a four-month sentence, also suspended for 12 months. Both had pleaded guilty to affray.
