TechSpotify steps up enforcement of family-plan rules

Spotify appears to be tightening enforcement of its Family and Duo rules by requiring members to scan an address-verification QR code in person using the plan manager’s device. Those who do not scan it within seven days will be moved to the free tier and barred from joining another plan for 12 months. The same-address requirement could affect families separated by school or work.
