PoliticsEU responds to Trump diesel deal with new Russia energy sanctions
The EU has proposed 117 additional sanctions listings, focused in part on Russia’s oil processing, refining and export capacity. The draft includes 31 oil-related listings, as well as financial institutions, LNG processors and companies in third countries accused of helping Moscow evade sanctions. Member-state experts and officials must still review and approve the measures.
