WorldEU wants new restrictions on Russian oil in 22nd sanctions package despite energy crisis
The European Commission and the European External Action Service want the EU’s 22nd sanctions package against Russia to add restrictions targeting Russian oil, including the shadow fleet, energy and banking sectors, and related sectors and entities in third countries. Kaja Kallas gave no expected adoption date; all EU member states must approve the package unanimously.
