WorldFSB says it detained German citizen who fought for Ukraine
Russia’s Federal Security Service says law enforcement detained a German citizen who allegedly signed a contract with Ukraine’s military and deserted after not receiving promised pay. The FSB said a criminal case was opened against him on mercenary-activity charges and listed previous combat service in several conflicts.
