Cuban Ambassador to Moscow Enrique Orta Gonzalez said the US blockade of Cuba reaches beyond US territory, with Washington pressuring shipping companies, banks and governments in third countries to suspend trade, financial or investment ties with Cuba. He called it a clear violation of international law. The UN General Assembly is due to vote on an anti-blockade resolution on October 28.
