SocietyGeorgia man sues Flock and sheriff’s office over alleged retaliation using license-plate cameras

A Georgia small-business owner has sued Flock and the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office, alleging retaliation through license-plate cameras. The lawsuit says officers ran unlawful searches for months without probable cause or a link to specific investigations, and alleges Flock failed to guard against improper surveillance. Tyler Murkerson was arrested over an alleged seatbelt violation in 2023; those charges were later dropped. He sued the department in 2024 over alleged excessive force, and that case was recently settled.
