TechAn Illinois college tried to end its Flock contract, but the company refused

Elgin Community College sought to remove six Flock license plate cameras after raising concerns about data sharing with Customs and Border Protection, camera security, and misuse of access. Flock said it had not breached its contract. The college covered the cameras with trash bags and ties, but staff said workers they assumed were from Flock repeatedly removed the coverings. The cameras came down after the contract expired in April.
