CultureEurovision 2027: Ireland joins Netherlands in boycott for second consecutive year

Ireland has withdrawn from next year's Eurovision Song Contest, citing the “appalling and ongoing loss of lives in Gaza.” Dutch broadcaster AvroTros had earlier announced a boycott, saying the contest no longer matched its standards of “trustworthiness, independence and humanity.”
