WorldTyphoon Champi approaches Japan

Heavy rain and strong winds are affecting Japan’s Ishigaki Island as Typhoon Champi draws near. The storm is expected to pass northeast of Taiwan, turn north toward China’s coast and eventually move into southern Japan.
