EconomyNetflix is laying off around 1,000 employees

Netflix co-CEOs Ted Sarandos and Greg Peters told employees the company would cut about 6 percent of its workforce, or roughly 1,000 jobs. It is Netflix’s largest round of layoffs so far, with most cuts expected in product, technology, human resources, and legal teams.
