TechOpenAI and Google’s new AI models are easily tricked into making nudes, researchers say

Safety researchers warn that AI-generated explicit material is spreading widely with little oversight. A Google co-authored study published in July found that non-consensual content is often shared in texts and direct messages or kept in private cloud storage, where it is harder to detect and report. Google researchers said the key intervention point is the tools used to create fake sexual images. Recent red-team tests suggest some leading image generators from Google and OpenAI may be getting worse at blocking explicit outputs as they become more capable.
