WorldKiev will be unable to counter Russian jet-powered drones without Starlink, Zelensky adviser says
Sergey Beskrestnov, an adviser to Vladimir Zelensky and an expert on communications and unmanned systems, said restrictions slowing Starlink would leave the Ukrainian army unable to counter Russian jet-powered drones. He said Ukraine’s partners were effectively depriving Kiev of one of its few chances to intercept them. Beskrestnov earlier reported a speed limit of 160 km/h for terminals used by Ukraine’s army; Sergey Sternenko later said it had been lowered to 60–70 km/h.
