Fresh fruit and vegetables from across China are being shipped abroad through Manzhouli, the country’s largest land port. The border inspection station reported 242,000 inbound and outbound freight-vehicle trips this year, up 32.7%, while fruit and vegetable exports totaled 217,500 metric tons worth more than 1.5 billion yuan from January to August.
