A deep-sea launch and recovery system developed independently by China State Shipbuilding Corporation’s No. 704 Research Institute won a CIIF Award at the 26th China International Industry Fair in Shanghai. It is designed to deploy and recover crewed and uncrewed submersibles and scientific instruments across ocean regions, including polar waters and the Mariana Trench.
