Chinese investors are looking to next week’s speech by securities regulator chief Wu Qing for signs of how Beijing may step up support for the stock market, after recent measures did little to lift sentiment. Wu, chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, is due to speak at the Financial Street Forum in Beijing on Monday, alongside other senior financial regulators.
