EconomyIMF raises 2026 global growth forecast to 3.1%

The IMF raised its 2026 global growth forecast by 0.1 percentage point to 3.1%. It expects growth to ease from 3.5% in 2025, then recover to 3.4% in 2027. Global headline inflation is projected to rise to 4.7% in 2026 before declining to 4.1% in 2027.
