PoliticsAlbanian police fire tear gas at protesters as Education Ministry is attacked

Riot police used tear gas and water cannon against hundreds of students protesting education and social conditions in Tirana. Protesters threw bricks and concrete blocks at the Education Ministry and demanded Prime Minister Edi Rama’s resignation. Police said six officers and a female journalist were injured, and 23 people were arrested.
