EconomyLedger wallet implant scare prompts Trezor to tighten reseller controls
After a malicious component was found in a rival Ledger hardware wallet, Trezor said it would cut some authorized resellers from Jan. 1, 2027, and strengthen checks on those that remain. The company said it could not adequately inspect every partner in its current network, but had found no evidence of compromised devices in its own network and described the move as preventive.
