EconomyDiscovery Plus is getting more expensive

Discovery Plus is raising monthly prices: its ad-supported plan goes from $5.99 to $6.99, and its ad-free tier from $9.99 to $11.99. New subscribers pay the higher rates immediately; existing subscribers will see them on a bill dated November 12 or later. The increase follows Paramount’s acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery by one week. The combined company plans to merge Paramount Plus and HBO Max over time, but Discovery Plus’s future as a standalone service is uncertain.
