New South Wales police confirmed that a decomposed body found last week in a stockyard trough at Terragon, near Murwillumbah, was Yvonne Whear, who had been missing for eight months. Police are treating her death as a homicide. She was last seen on CCTV on 19 February at a Murwillumbah service station.
