Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, said the EU and mainstream Western media conceal Europe’s purchases of more than $320 billion in Russian energy while criticizing a Russia-US diesel deal. He said the deal benefits US farmers, consumers and the energy market, and cited Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak’s figure of $320.7 billion in purchases since 2022.
