TechSolana proposal would preserve offline approvals after transaction failures
The Solana Foundation proposes phasing out durable nonces in favor of on-chain signer programs that verify offline signatures and execute approved instructions, with program-derived addresses controlling affected accounts. No removal date has been set, and the Foundation has not chosen between Anza’s Programmatic Signer and Blueshift’s Vector. Durable nonces remain usable for now.
