TechRooppur Unit 1 reactor reaches minimum controlled power, Rosatom says
Rosatom said the reactor at Unit 1 of Bangladesh’s Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant has reached minimum controlled power, marking the core’s first self-sustaining, controlled nuclear chain reaction. Tests at different power levels are next. Rosatom expects the unit to be prepared for physical start-up and grid connection before the end of November.
