The New York Times reports that Elon Musk has donated at least $276 million to Republican groups since July. That includes $158 million for the Senate Leadership Fund and more than $76 million for America PAC, which Musk founded. His roughly $366 million in donations to federal committees during the 2025–26 election cycle exceeds the $290 million he gave in 2024, despite his pledge to spend much less on politics.
