TechEclair merges fixes for Lightning flaws that could drain Bitcoin through fees
Eclair has merged two fixes for vulnerabilities that could leave a node paying excessive mining fees during channel funding and splicing. One limits a peer’s fee-bump requests; the other verifies the actual fees in transactions built by a Bitcoin backend. The fixes entered the master branch on Oct. 2 and Oct. 5, but as of Oct. 12 the latest listed release remained September’s v0.14.3.
