CultureSARAB pays tribute to war victims in Syria and Gaza on new album

Franco-Syrian five-piece SARAB blends guitar-heavy riffs, classical Arabic sounds and socially conscious lyrics in what is described as poetic punk rock. The band is touring its latest album, “Mit Warde – Cent Roses,” dedicated to war victims around the world, including in Gaza and Syria. The programme also speaks with Tom McFarland of British neo-soul band Jungle, touring its fifth album, “Sunshine.”
