After environmental water flows to Gingham water hole were stopped following a private landholder’s complaint, the site dried up and wildlife and sheep died. Thirteen rescued freshwater turtles have now been returned, while 24 remain in care and 281 eggs are incubating at Taronga zoo in Dubbo.
