EconomyOPEC expects global oil demand to grow by 400,000 barrels a day in 2026
OPEC Secretary General Haitham Al-Ghais said the organization now expects global oil demand to rise by 400,000 barrels per day in 2026, down from its 1.4 million-barrel forecast at the year's start. He said some demand has shifted to 2027, when OPEC expects growth of 1.7 million barrels per day.
