SocietySydney religious school students made to share beds with teachers, inquiry hears
Two former students told a New South Wales parliamentary inquiry that pupils at western Sydney’s Redeemer Baptist School sometimes shared beds with teachers at camps. One also alleged that principal Jonathon Cannon once walked naked through a common area. Emma Hughes said the school’s culture left students with much to untangle as adults. The committee is examining the school’s management and government oversight.
