WorldDocuments falsified to evade tax on Abramovich’s wealth
A BBC Panorama investigation found that accounts signed off by Deloitte in Cyprus caused assets worth $672m, including yachts, mansions and private jets, to disappear from Roman Abramovich’s company accounts. The investigation says falsified documents were also used in a scheme to avoid a large tax bill. Abramovich denies evading tax or concealing his wealth; Deloitte Cyprus says it complies with applicable laws.
