The 77th International Astronautical Congress closed in Türkiye on October 9. Guo Huadong, a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and scientist at its Aerospace Information Research Institute, received the 2026 International Astronautical Federation Hall of Fame Award for his lifelong contributions to astronautics.
