A Sudanese rights group said on Sunday that airstrikes hit a gold mine on the Egypt-Sudan border on Saturday, killing at least 72 workers. The Emergency Lawyers organisation accused Egypt’s air force of carrying out the attack. AFP could not independently verify the account, and Egypt has made no official comment.
