Some Kraken futures limit orders may execute even after a cancellation is acknowledged as successful if the request arrives during the Maker Protection hold window. Expanded to more contracts on Oct. 8, the rule converts a held order to immediate-or-cancel: it may fill when released, while any remainder is discarded. Traders must check execution results as well as the cancel acknowledgment.
