China and Pakistan will hold the Karakoram 2026 joint army training in Korla, Xinjiang, later this month, Chinese defense spokesperson Chen Xi said Saturday. The exercise will focus on high-altitude counter-terrorism operations and include UAV activity, target search and firing on the move, long-range sniping, joint command exercises and live-force drills. It is the countries’ first joint army training and is expected to deepen military cooperation and improve interoperability.
