WorldYemen’s government military says forces advancing against Houthis

Yemen’s internationally recognised government military says its forces killed at least 1,150 Houthis in nearly 2,000 targeted operations over the past 24 hours, destroying ammunition depots and at least 180 vehicles. It says ground forces are continuing to advance to retake areas around the Bab al-Mandeb Strait. Al Jazeera could not independently verify the claims.
