Ethiopia’s House of Peoples’ Representatives unanimously approved a 23-member cabinet proposed by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed. Nine ministerial posts went to women, while more than 10 positions remained unchanged. Temesgen Tiruneh, Gedion Timothewos and opposition member Berhanu Nega were reappointed as deputy prime minister, foreign minister and education minister, respectively.
