Beijing’s major parks remained crowded near the end of the National Day holiday. Beijing Daily reported 573,000 visits on October 6, with the Temple of Heaven, the Summer Palace and Beihai Park ranking highest. Parks offered markets and interactive activities; Beihai also featured Guizhou snacks and demonstrations of embroidery and batik techniques.
