OpenAI, Google and Meta are among 13 applicants seeking .agent as ICANN reviews 1,615 applications for new generic top-level domains, its first such round since 2012. Crypto companies are also pursuing names including .bitcoin, .crypto and .wallet. None of the contested domains has been awarded.
