TechMeta bans TikTok ads across its platforms

Meta has barred ByteDance ads and paid marketing messages, as well as third-party ads linking to TikTok, in the US and several other countries. A Meta spokesperson called refusing promotional services to a competitor a normal business practice. The restrictions also apply in Canada, Egypt, Indonesia, Japan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
