Dmitry Kostygin, a former co-owner of Lenta and Rive Gauche, was detained, according to Russian media citing sources. A Moscow court placed him under house arrest on October 8. He is accused of hiding Yulmart’s true financial position when signing a 2017 equipment-supply contract. Kostygin and fellow former co-owner August Meyer were previously sentenced over alleged misuse of Yulmart loans, but were exempted from serving their terms after the statute of limitations expired.
