The EU’s permanent civil-military mission in Lebanon is expected to have about 100 personnel, mostly from Italy, France and Spain, the Rapporteur portal reported, citing sources. It will assist and advise Lebanon’s armed forces and law enforcement agencies and will not replace UNIFIL.
